Through the support of Black Doctors USA, Advantage Health Centers is seeking additional Black health care providers for their 5 clinic locations in Detroit, MI to service the needs of the community they serve and offer a diverse medical staff for their patients.
Reporting to the President/CEO, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) leads the overall clinical vision for the organization. The position provides medical oversight, expertise and leadership to ensure the delivery of affordable quality health, dental and behavioral health services. Responsibilities also include the strategy, development and implementation of innovative clinical programs that include collaboration with strategic business partners.
Under direction of the Chief Medical Officer, provides professional medical services in the community health center.
Under direction of the Dental Director, provides needed comprehensive dental services to pediatric patients at clinical sites, or other facilities, consistent with current techniques, practices and guidelines of dental care.
Under direction of the Director of Behavioral Health, the Psychiatrist evaluates and diagnoses patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders, and develops and implements treatment plans. Responsible for monitoring and evaluating treatment results. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
